I Am Thinking About Have a Tummy Tuck in December. Any Advice or Info?
I just had a baby about a year ago and I am planning to go see my plastic surgeon for a consult this Friday. I wanted to hear from other women who have had the procedure done. It would also help if someone around my age group could give me some advice. Ages between 20-30
I had a tummy tuck done when I was 27, after I had my 2nd BIG baby.
I wasn’t overweight at all, I just had this ugly loose skin.
It was the best thing I ever did. I could wear a bikini again and I had the flatest stomach.
I am now almost 50 & still have a nice stomach.
I didn’t have any problems after the surgery. Yes, I walked all hunched over for afew weeks because of all the stitches, but I was back to normal in under 6 weeks.
For me it was so worth it

A friend of mine just had it done. It took her nearly 6 weeks to fully recover…and frankly she’s not 100% yet.
Another piece of advice would be to wait till after the holidays. Do you really want to be all stooped over and in pain post-op on Christmas day?? I sure wouldn’t!
I had a friend have this done….after seeing what she went through, I would NEVER have this kind of surgery…i know another woman who had it done over a year ago and still has a lot of pain associated with it.
Please don’t get a tummy tuck……just lose the weight the old fashion way.
